I received the appointment for the final CT scan, which is scheduled for next week. I’ll keep you posted. This is really like the punctuation on this year of treatments. Life has felt normal and full of distractions so I have not really spent much time worrying about the scan. I’ve spent more time thinking about all the support we still have after a long year, and came across this quote in a book I’ve been reading.
At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us. Albert Schweitzer
Thank you for keeping my light aglow. Gratitude abounds.

I’ll keep the candle burning now that you don’t need the torch!!
Just want you to know that I am still here, following your progress. I tend not to comment, as R is much more eloquent in expressing our mutual thoughts. Since you have always been there to rekindle the lights of others, it is heartening to see how many have been standing by you with candles lit. It has certainly been a tough year for you, and you have come through it radiantly. Keep smiling! We’re sending lots of love.
How’d it go?
Hi all. Thanks so much for your comments. The whole candle thing does me good. THANK YOU.
C, you are steadfast support. (thanks for the lobster article!!)
Di, I love it when you comment. Eloquence is NOT necessary here, obviously. I mean I think we’ve talked about FARTING here, how eloquent is that??? Thank you for your heartfelt support.
Lee, the CT is scheduled for Tuesday the 5th. I get results on the 7th. I’ll keep you posted. It’s always so great hearing from you. We miss you loads.
